Rachel E. Gross is an award-winning science journalist and author of VAGINA OBSCURA, a New York Time's Editor's Pick that tells the story of how anatomists mapped the female reproductive organs—and how a new generation is wresting them back. She was previously a 2018-2019 Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT and the digital science editor for Smithsonian magazine. Her work has appeared in the BBC Future, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Scientific American, Slate, and elsewhere.
